Also called Realgar and Orpiment, Arsenic has been used to dispose of undesirables for thousands of years. While we cannot condone such activity, these certainly make for excellent conversation pieces.  Although nicknamed "inheritance powder" in France, this substance is actually used to treat certain rare blood disorders!
